AHSEN: Home-based in Ankara, Turkey, Ahsen is a full time conference interpreter. She specializes in international trade and international relations subject matter. In her spare time she loves the opportunity to visit tropical destinations.

JESSIE: The best Chinese translator ever. We mean it! Jessie earned his Doctorate at Oklahoma State University and has a gift for understanding technical and scientific topics. He has visited customer factories with us on occasion in order to get to know the customer’s product line up-close. The more your translator can learn hands-on, the more accurate the final translation will be. Jessie is willing to get out of the office and experience the customer and the product in order to provide the best possible translation the first time.

GEORGE – MARY LOU – FABIO & LUCIA:
George is a customer from Africa who was very happy to pose with our team while we were on a conference interpreting assignment in the Canary Islands. Mary Lou (who we  caught NOT smiling in this photo) is a first-rate French conference interpreter and technical translator. And she has a beautiful smile, by the way.  Fabio and Lucia are Italian interpreters who often work together as a team for us.

RITA: This is Rita, who grew up in Iraq in a tri-lingual family. By the time she was 19 years old she was fluent in Arabic, Armenian and English and was hired by Chase Bank at the ripe old age of 21!. Rita has worked with us as an interpreter in the banking industry and small business meetings with Arabic- speaking visitors. She is in the process of re-locating to Europe, as she is now learning Italian.

JULIE:  Julie McKee took her degree in Communications and  love for language to new heights when she founded Pacolet International Translation, Inc. (Also known as Pacolet International Communication.) As the company’s Marketing Director and Customer Liaison, she has always gone the extra distance to travel and meet  customers face to face. Doing business on-line is certainly convenient, but Julie feels that nothing ever replaces a handshake and a genuine smile. She is pictured here with Arabic interpreter Rita, while the two were on an assignment in Amman Jordan.

ROB: A true renaissance man, Rob is a first-rate Spanish translator. As well as being fluent in several languages, he’s a gifted writer and photographer. When he’s not hard at work in the office, Rob literally travels the world on his motorcycle, having toured nearly every continent by bike. He posts wonderful photos and blogs on his journeys.  (We have asked that he please NOT tour the Arctic or Antarctica on that BMW!)

ANDREAS: This top-notch German translator is home-based in Bavaria. He has worked with us for many years doing technical translations in the restaurant equipment industry and the industrial machining industry. In his spare time, Andreas enjoys the outdoors with his family, both hiking and skiing. His wife, a native speaker of Spanish, is a European opera singer! Andreas assures us that she gets no competition from him in that area.

TOMASZ – EWA – JENNY: Tomasz and Ewa are a married couple who work as a Polish language translation team and as partners in the interpreting booth. While they are both excellent technical translators, Ewa also has a background in legal interpreting. The two of them love to travel internationally and the last time we saw Tomasz, he was planning to go hang gliding. This guy never stops!

Jenny, the cute blond with the bobbed haircut, is one of our stars. Jenny is from Peru and has years of experience with CNN as an international broadcast interpreter and voice talent. In addition to her expertise as a conference interpreter, Jenny has done many Spanish voiceovers for our customers, including videos for Nissan Corporation.
