Taylor Company - Ongoing Manual Translations 1993-2004
This client requires translation of all instruction manuals and safety labels for their ice cream freezers and grill equipment. For the past ten years Pacolet International has provided the translation and desktop publishing of these publications into as many as 14 languages at one time.

Our staff has worked closely with this client and their international representatives to build consistent glossaries which insure accuracy from year to year even as technology changes. Past and ongoing projects include translations into European, Middle-Eastern and Oriental languages as well as Russian, Hebrew and Arabic.

Galileo Software - Chinese Marketing Brochure
This client develops and markets software for the travel industry. One of their software packages is designed for use by travel agents. Their corporate brochure was needed by agents who spoke Mandarin Chinese. Pacolet International did the translation and subsequently formatted the project in the client's existing QuarkXpress for Macintosh file.

Star Shooter Basketball Training Program - Japanese Brochure and Posters
This client has developed a device to help basketball players improve their accuracy at the free-throw line. He also teaches workshops for players. He recently decided to market his program in Japan and contracted Pacolet International Translation, Inc to do the translation and formatting of  his brochure and marketing posters.

Sundstrand Aerospace - Corporate Brochure and Videos
This brochure was translated from English into Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish. Pacolet International Translation, Inc provided the translations which were first proof read by our team of proof readers, and subsequently checked by the customer’s overseas associates to verify Sundstrand's approved terminology. Following the translation of the brochure, the client contracted Pacolet to translate and provide voiceovers for their corporate video into the same three languages, as well as several Spanish and Russian language training videos. Since its acquisition by United Technologies, the client (now called Hamilton Sundstrand) has continued to call upon Pacolet International when translation needs arise.

General Kinesmatics - Operations Manual
This client manufactures huge industrial vibration machines that are sold worldwide. In 1999 the client had a large unit being sent to Italy and needed more than 60,000 words translated into Italian. In addition to the translation, this client needed the entire manual (layout, diagrams and drawings) to be re-created from scratch to match the original English version. .

This was a very large project and was not inexpensive. However, the client was very anxious to find a company that could provide the entire range of services from translation and proof reading, through design and final formatting. Pacolet International completed this project is just over 10 weeks and the client has been a repeat customer several times since.
